What makes someone worthy of a memory.  Is it their
importance to what shall be called things that will be left for
histories sake.  Or something another can bank on to better
the environment.  Or even a transfer of ones money as an
inheritance to a families good.  To me it's none of these
things, to me a memory is made in the heart and cannot or
should not be quantified by some bankbook or journal for a
cause.  So to Soupy Sales, who is one who I grew up with I
say, "Thanks so much for the memories made with your
programing and life's sense of humor.  Your wit and heart
felt timing with that humor makes me think of you with joy."  A
few years back I had the pleasure of seeing Soupy in person
at one of the Chiller Theater shows in Jersey.  I managed to
get his autographs signed in one of my journals I've kept.
Something I'll treasure till my death.  No, I'm not one of the
kids who took money from my mommies purse to send to
him, but I'm one to laugh at the thought of it.  Want to learn
more about The Soupy man, check out his story on this
website.  I did.

Hope you enjoyed our news
this month and hope to see
you next month too.
Again more Geometric Design
Brain     Waves
What kind of article will be for next month?
You'll just have to wait and see.
I promise I won't let you down.
Just because I'm not built that way.
Hope to see you then.
I'll certainly tune you in, the moment it comes out.
As I said, when I began selling the Geometric Design line of products, "I'm
someday going to have all of the models, painted: Busts and their bases; Full
figure and their bases; Micro models and their bases; And all of the
accessories.  I think I'm chugging along at an even pace to make it a dream
worth having and accomplishing, hopefully within a few years or so.
Of course, there will be other projects and priorities that will included along
my road of dreams to be realized, but I think I'll probably own up to that
decision too, made some months back.
I'm really believe I'm beginning to soar with my art.  At least I can see it for
myself, from an outsider and a critique.  I like my choice of color, the detail I'm
demanding more and more, from the very beginning of assembly, to the
clean-up, to painting and its finish, I'm truly paying attention to my goal.  I'm
even now thinking of purchasing a branding iron, to brand on my logo, soon
to be made and the date of the paint job.  I'm now putting felt pads on the
bottom of the finished product, and smoothing and cleaning up the base of
the base, so it has a more professional feel to its final stage of completion.
All these things add a perspective of individuality of personal  design and
the quality of each piece, making them something of worth not only to myself,
but I believe to the purchaser who will decide to put into  there collection.

Who is to say that a project is complete and cannot be worked on again.
Certainly not me.  But for now, I think I've decided in my mind that this
scratch built diorama is complete as its gonna get for the moment.  Yes, I
planned on putting in some sculpted crows, sitting on the back ledge of the
scene, cawing at each other and dive flying from up above.  I also planned
on the head of a roman statue, broken off from its full figure in the left
foreground of the piece.  But again, for now, it comes to the Chiller
show in Jersey as is.  Unfortunately, only to be entered into the
professional category and not into the  scratch built category,
as I had planned it to be.  Uck, on that, the best laid plans, are
not always the outcome of what is,  So here it is, click on the
scene you see at our right and what I have done.  I think it's
done well enough to have be chosen to take to the
                       competition.
To my left, is the Pale man model, I plan on building a full
diorama around.  Pale man is the creature from a scene
from the Pan's Labyrinth flick.  I've got wonderful plans
for this model and want to make it my goal for 2010.
The Predator
Winner of Grand Poobah award at Chiller contest.
That was the place to be this past Holloween.
There were ghoul and goblins, and fun to be
had for all who came.  There were stars and
sights, and plenty of food.
There was the usual festivities of course;
the model contest, the award
ceremony, the vendors and the
people who let there inhibitions
disappear for the sake of good fun.
But don't let me keep gabbing
about it here, why don't you click
on the Chiller banner and let it
take you to all of the pictures
I took on that day. Every picture
tells a story and without
a doubt mine do too.
