Invasion of the Saucermen
Here's some pictures I took today of the model
as it stood for some 7 years now. I think this
is the first time I ever really took a good look at
it, from the perspective of who I was then and
now. God, did this need a make over in a
terrible way. I've only completed the base, the
hand on the ground, the clothing and the two
hands on the green alien, but already it's
coming to life just as I would want it to be
today. I'll post more pictures when it's
complete, most likely this weekend.
I've decided to stay with the overall color
scheme, I think that part of it worked great.
But the detailing, egad ... What a mess. lol
Oh, I did change the bibs and cuffs of the
creatures, to have an undercolour of red, I
think it's much more dramatic this way.

holding. I want to make it really pop out, any suggestions.

changed the color of the nails to a whitish gray color. That way it gave me
more to work with in shaping it and shading it. 2003, I can't believe that this
was my beginnings as a modeler. They say, "You've come a long way
baby." Without a doubt I can agree on that point.
