| Creature from the Black Lagoon A Geometric Design Bust |
Hands down. This is my very favourite Monster (from the Grade B monsters) of all time. And I
don't think I'm alone in that boat for sure. Here is a wonderful sculpture done into a bust with a
base. It's in 1/4 scale and it will hopefully be up for sale on this site.
Below are shots I took of the bust just last night. I loved painting it. The only I added, on my own,
was the dribbling saliva coming from the Creatures mouth. Way cool fun to do. I also loved
shooting and giving you the most accurate color shots I could to the original.

Well I hope you enjoyed and check out all the other stuff on my plate this month, in my News
Letter. My thanks to Al at Phoenix Comics, alias Geometric Design. If it weren't for him, I never
would have gotten to do this piece. Since I never knew it existed. I'm sure you'll love having one in
your collection, either painted by me, or as a piece ready for paint-up. It had a minimal of clean-up
overall and again, it was more than a joy to paint up. I always loved the idea, that the Creature
was a Black and White flick, giving me the options of making it as colourful as I wanted. Which I
certainly did.
